Denise Collins is a pioneering force in Australian motorsport, breaking barriers throughout her career. Starting in 1978, she quickly made her mark by scoring State Championship points in her third event and becoming the runner-up in 1987. Denise became the first all-lady crew to finish the Rally of Malaysia and the first female driver to set fastest stage times in Australian Rally Championship events.

Her career highlights include multiple wins in the Group N 1600cc class and becoming the first female driver to win a national CAMS title. In 2004, she made history again as the first female to win a National Championship, claiming the Australian F16 Rally title.

Denise has also served on the Australian Rally Commission and was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000. In recent years, she fulfilled bucket-list dreams by competing in the Alpine Rally and Otago Rally, continuing to inspire women in motorsport.
