Vehicle Eligibility

I have a C3 car and it has a 1986 CAMS log book, and a roll cage that complied with the regulations at that time. Would I need to replace the cage with one that complies with the current regs or is the cage "grandfathered" because of the log book year?

If the cage is alloy it will be compliant at the end of this year and will need to be replaced. If it's not alloy then you can run it.

Alcohol and Drugs

What is the alcohol and/or illicit drug limit for a driver (when tested) at the start of each day?

Both the Driver and the Navigator/Co-Driver are required to be alcohol and drug free each day of the event as tested by the appropriate delegated authority or a South Australian Police Officer.

The penalty for a breach of this regulation is disqualification from the event, effective immediately.

Damage

Am I responsible for replacing or paying for any private property damage that I may cause on a Liaison Section? You will be required to replace or repair any damage caused by you.

Private insurance to cover a circumstance such as this may be advisable.
